People Tech Group Helps Fractionable Migrate Workloads to AWS
Executive Summary
Fractionable wanted to develop a set of services that support large project teams as well as small businesses and startups. These services span from IT infrastructure to back office functions like recruiting and finance. One of the first customers was a large project team that develops in-car/vehicle infotainment system (ICE or IVI) for General Motors. This team of over 300 needed their engineers to focus on the development needs of the customer, not the infrastructure and tools that support them. To meet their needs the Fractionable team faced various challenges like difficulty in securing the infrastructure to the end-customer’s specified security requirements, a limited number of employees, finite budgets, and the lack of ability to scale, integrate, and deploy efficiently. They also needed help in managing BC/DR with hybrid infrastructure, while migrating their workloads to AWS.
