Summary:
Expedia planned to implement Workday and People Tech created Recruitment Data Warehouse and integrated Workday with the existing IT ecosystem. We have supported Expedia in PeopleSoft FSCM (GL, AP, AR, Billing, Asset Management and Project Costing) and HCM Production Support and Application Enhancements out of US using managed services. We helped the client in the following areas:

Workday Advance Compensation Implementation
OVERVIEW
- Headquartered in Seattle (Washington), Expedia Group, Inc. is a leading online travel company that owns and operates travel fare aggregators and travel metasearch engines, such as Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Vrbo, Travelocity, Hotwire.com, Orbitz, Ebookers, CheapTickets, CarRentals.com, Expedia Cruises, Wotif, and Trivago.
- The client needed to implement the Advanced Compensation module. The project scope also included enhancement and support on Payroll & HR Reporting, production Support and Workday Cloud Platform implementation.

- Implemented advanced compensation module in workday and currently working on enhancements and upgrades.
- Worked on Payroll Reports for reporting and analytics.
- Currently providing Core HCM support and Production Support.
- Also worked on One Time Payment using Workday Cloud Platform.

Implementation of Workday HR and Recruitment
OVERVIEW
The scope of the project included:
- Retirement of PeopleSoft HR systems.
- Expedia wants to Implement workday HR & Recruitment.
- Schedule overrun from workday consulting partner, lack of ownership on key integrations, high cost of implementations.
- Implementation, support, and testing services to Expedia for implementation, geo-expansion project.
- Development of custom SQRs to extract data from PeopleSoft and create a flat file load in workday.
- On-going support for all new integrations, upgrades, and patching cycle.

People Tech proposed the following solution:
- Migrated the HR system from PeopleSoft to Workday.
- Workday report development for new country expansion.
- Dedicated report development team for country wise roll out plan.
- Current working on France and Singapore, completed USA and Global reports.
- Standardized reporting templates and approach, avoid building unnecessary new reports, follow below hierarchy.
- Data warehouse for HR & Recruitment.
- Partnered with Kainos to provide end to end testing service including test automation.
- Team based in Bellevue and in Hyderabad (India) covering round the clock support for all geo expansion roll outs.
People Tech developed HCM data model integrated with Recruitment in HRDW and candidate /employee relationship.
Loaded the historical data from PeopleFluent into HRDW, built DataMart for recruitment.
Custom reports are being developed as per Expedia’s custom requirements.

OVERVIEW
The project scope included building test automation to test functionalities, performing manual testing to verify the functional and integration setup.

- People Tech performed a feasibility study of their Workday Application.
- Maintained test items as the application changes.
- Created test scenarios and perform testing on Core HCM, Integrations, Payroll, Benefits and Advance Compensation.
- Used Kainos to perform automation testing for application upgrades.
- Created test cases and testing to verify the security functionality.
