SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) Endpoint Implementation

OVERVIEW

Ameritas is a mutual insurance company based in Nebraska, United States. It includes Ameritas Mutual Holding Company (AMHC), Ameritas Holding Company (AHC), and Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. of New York.
Ameritas approached People Tech to design, deploy, optimize, and train users for a device configuration management solution using Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 – Configuration Manager and SCCM for Endpoints.

Discovery and Requirements: During the discovery and requirements phase, we worked with the customer to understand which items they were interested in designing and discovering for. We then used custom scripts and workbooks to discover their AD environment, applications, network, and hardware endpoints.
Design and Planning: Designed a System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environment.
Implementation: Built and tested the solution.
Configuring and Tuning Phase: During the configuring and tuning phase, we set the best practice settings for SCCM, as well as items the customer wanted to implement for themselves.
Training and Documentation: Delivered documentation updates and hands on training for the customer and staff.

Migration of existing on-premises data warehouse databases and ETL Applications to Azure Cloud to build modern data platform as foundation for Data Science, Enterprise Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytics Applications.
Establish DR capabilities and fail-over within the agreed upon SLAs in case of failures.
Modernization of the on-premises DW consisting of 100+ databases, ETL data processing and BI applications to the Azure cloud in a Modern Data Lake Platform Architecture using Databricks and Synapse.
Utilize PaaS services for scaling during seasonal peaks.
