UKG: WFC CR Contracts Implementation
OVERVIEW
- One of our clients is maintaining an auto-shift assignment interface for employee groups. This interface assigns shifts to the employees based on their punches on the timecard. Currently, the existing interface has limited population groups.
WFC CR Contracts with UKG Professional Services
- As part of the scope, the client had requested to add additional employee groups that will be introduced in the auto-shift feature.
- To ensure that the Absenteeism report displays correct information which will be achieved by expanding the current employee selection criteria by altering an existing interface, which applies shift based on employee punches.
WFC AMS for UKG end customer
Fixed bid AMS contract with UKG’s end customer for WFC Application support covered the below scope:
1. Workforce Timekeeper (WTK) module (Time & Attendance Management).
2. Workforce Accruals (Leave Management).
3. Access Management for Time office.
- Troubleshooting in existing issues.
- Employee not able to mark attendance due to badge issue / biometric issue.
- Shift Management-Schedule patterns and groups.
- Access profiles.
4. Reports.
- Troubleshooting the existing reports’ issues.
5. Kronos Workflow Support.
- Address UKG workflow issues that handle business processes like leave, missed punch, and attendance regularization in the application.
- Terminal not communicating issue or touch/ biometric/ display issue. Assistance is required from the respective plant unit to resolve the issue.
- Data syncing issues (Terminal & application) like not syncing/partial syncing.
6. Payroll Support.
SOLUTION PROVIDED BY PEOPLE TECH GROUP
- People Tech reviewed the existing interface and technical design documents.
- Developed and made the necessary code and configuration changes to meet the requirements and completed the unit testing to ensure the interface is functioning as expected.
- Also, created a look-up table that will have HR access to view add and/or edit the logical punch boundaries, shift assignments, and employee group components.
BENEFITS
- Successfully added new employee category in Auto shift correction Interface and deployed to production.
- Validation of absenteeism report ensured that the data for half-day working employees is displayed correctly.
- A look-up table has been created so that HR can view, add and/or edit the logical punch boundaries, shift assignments, and employee group components.
